“Wearing a hat is like having a baby or a puppy; everyone stops to coo and talk about it.“- Louise Green
The perfect way to protect yourself from the tan and make a cool statement. Flaunt these different hats and make heads turn.
Picking up from our peter pan collars, we extend the retro trend to your tresses with a simple DIY bow band.
All you need to use is :
> Place a lace around your head
> Knot it up in a neat fold
> Make a crossed bow by pulling together the two ends
> You are ready with a cool retro bow band
With RETRO FASHION being the new BIG THING, we thought why not share a retro DIY trick with you girls.
I totally adore the retro vibe, the softness of the rounded collars, their playful, romantic and arty integrity, and their feminine appeal. A pointy shirt collar is strict, crisp and masculine, whereas a peter pan collar creates a more ladylike and whimsical effect. Peter pan collars also do a great job of softening a very strong shoulder line.
Considering ALL THINGS VINTAGE is the new high of the season we thought sharing this SUPER SIMPLE DIY trick would be a great idea!!!
HOW TO CREATE A LACE PETER PAN COLLAR!!
> Plain simple t shirt or a top
> Fancy Lace
> All pins / Fabric Glue
> Pair of scissors
AND HERE WE GO WITH PETER PAN !!!
Remember how I mentioned once that I ended up altering my Dior Dress just to create that perfect tea length outfit for my birthday!!!
Refresh your memory : http://stylecoquettes.wordpress.com/2012/10/03/how-to-rock-that-vintage-tea-length/
The reason i am mentioning this is because I got really excited when I recently saw Sonam Kapoor wearing something similar to my outfit at the L’oreal Femina Women Awards… No doubt she looked amazing in the Atsu creation but I am more excited to show off my own creation ….

GRAND FINALE IT IS…….
It was indeed one of the most awaited Grand Finalez ever considering the fact that Manish Arora was showcasing at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week almost after 4 years. This collection was special as it was inspired by the Burning Man Festival, which apparently is one hell of a festival in US… They say you gotta be there to believe it
As expected the collection had a huge colour palette recreating the day landscape starting from cloudy blue sky with layers of black, white and warm colours. It also saw usage of lot of fur and and the classic leather turbans.
Loud cheers, live international band performances and models impromptu gigs on the ramp, ace fashion designer Manish Arora brought the curtains down on the 21st edition of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Autumn/ winter 2013.
THE MAN HIMSELF !!!

Masaba Gupta marks the onset of WIFW 2013, Autumn/ Winter.
Designer Masaba Gupta unveiled the new, young Satya Paul girl as she debuted her collection for the brand on day one of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2013.
As expected the young designer managed to add her quirk factor to the Satya Paul collection.
Just like her Camera trademark last season her collection for Satya Paul included certain trademarks such as the lipstick prints, ink blot on garments, abstract designs and telephone booth imprints.
Masaba’s debut for Satya Paul was phenomenal indeed as for the first time she even showcased some quirky bags.
Absolutely loved the idea of wearing suspenders with a sari, I think it’s quite edgy.
I can just feel it that the ink blot and the telephone print would be quite a rage.
