A setting that every bride aspires for, the pool at Andaz Delhi Residency is a wonderful option for those seeking a tropical, outdoor venue. Lush gardens with the glow of the Strip lights and soaring architecture of the modern buildings at Aerocity makes for an enchanting feeling.

This one time when we used an ideal mehendi ceremony venue to strut pose and smize!

Our Bridal Splendour series is a way to help the beautiful brides find their right outfit options!

Be it a Sangeet ceremony or your “Big day” the outfits always serve as the centrepiece. There are thousands of lehengas/outfits  out there, hence it can be a bit overwhelming when it comes to choosing the right outfit. Especially if it’s about the right shade.
Undoubtedly an age-old bridal favourite, hues of red such as Maroon are synonymous with Indian weddings. Since these Maroon and Vermillion are on the hot-list, we thought why not try something regal yet fun courtesy Jyoti Sachdev Iyer who is absolutely impeccable with her cuts, detailing and of course the colour palette.

Have a look!

We have always seen the bridal couture off the runway draped on the models. That is what every designer does right?? Then how do we think ANU PD is different?? Well, because she just didn’t showcase her garments but made all of us experience them. Yes, you heard it right.

Designer #AnuPD along with #LeMeridienNewDelhi played the perfect host to a mock wedding showcasing the bridal finery of the designer along with the exquisite wedding banquets of the hotel. It was as real as it could get with all of us bloggers playing #Bridesmaids and dressing in Anu PD couture. From the gana bajana of the mehendi ceremony to the daru at cocktail party, all the wedding functions were spread over a day.

Here are the glimpses from the #WeddingDiaries

All of us were welcomed warmly by the Le Meridien staff before we checked in the rooms to a long day ahead.

Team Bride with Anu PD

After lazying in the comfortable rooms of Le Meridien and getting ready at La Belle salon, we headed to Allure for the mehendi ceremony.

The Naughty and Fun Bride

The Hawain Bride

Sovereign played host to the wedding function complete with an elaborate food spread.

The Demure Bride

And yes, how could we miss the fun ‘ring finding’ ceremony (the groom won 🙂 post the wedding at the hotel’s exquisite suite.

The Coy Bride

What a way to end the festivities than to unwind with the bride at Nero for the cocktail party.

About the collection

The Bridal collection is a tribute to the deep impact that a recent visit to Ajanta Caves, left on Anu.

Combining neutrals and embracing a spunky attitude by merging blues, greens, mauves and the utterly wearable trend of red, she plays the hand of texture not just with embroidery, but also with pleating, quilting and fabric-weaving.

It brings forth the inner bohemian goddess; a strong feminine, edgy vibe juxtaposed against the soulful charms of the Buddha and his wisdom – voila! The Modern Bride!
